First time doing a roast on the kamado , i was planing to do a reverse sear method as its not that big of a roast , any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess you would bring it closer to the final temp you want, compared to a steak, on the slow and low. It should be great, every then slow and low comes out great.
