  1. On the way out this morning. The flower is a Mexican Sunflower, they attract butterflies, and praying mantis

  3. Thai chili peppers and red curry paste gave this soup a great boost. Red onion, red bell pepper, celery provided color and texture (and lots of flavor) The soup base was built around coconut milk and red curry paste with ginger added for a pop. Fresh basil was added towards the end of the cook along with large raw shrimp and rice noodles for a robust soup. Delish! This is a practice round....

I did a little overnight Butt to go over to the Gulf Coast for a family day! I love my Flameboss.

  6. I do like your standard for moth measurement. Everybody grabs something recognizable and close-at-hand. Often a dollar bill for easy reference. In your case, another easy reference.....

  7. Probably a Big Poplar Sphinx moth. My daughter would be thrilled to run across one!

  8. I’ll see your butterfly @philpom, and raise you a giant moth. This thing was super creepy and hung around forever this summer. Didn’t even flinch when the dog was sniffing it and eventually sputtered off with a little encouragement once we moved it to higher ground.

  9. Color me intrigued I really like this design for camping over the traditional Weber GA I doubt we'll see them in Aus anytime soon (and i'm sure the price point will be insane when we do) but this will be hard to walk past when/if it lands here

  10. Hello everyone, long time lurker. Just converted from Medium BGE to Kamado Joe Classic 3. Have been cooking/smoking for about 10 years on the medium egg and realized that it was just not quite big enough. I am anxious to begin using the 3. I am planning soon to give a tutorial on my Island build that I think some will enjoy. Great stuff on this forum

  11. It’s junk and not worth it. $28 I got two half moon kiln shelves from my local pottery shop. Much better option.

  15. Funny.... I floated this one by Mr. KK last night.... He immediately deflected my question when I asked if he would mind if I pulled the trigger on one and redirected the conversation. I'd been keeping an eye on the progress of these for awhile.... just finally got the nerve up to bring it up. This not being able to just have stuff shipped to work and sneak it home thing is really a bummer.....

  17. Not sure what size you need but I always recommend kiln shelves. If you have a local pottery store give them a call. Here is an example: http://www.clay-king.com/kilns/kiln_accessories/corelite_kiln_shelves.html
