Found this forum when I was searching the Web trying to decide between a WSM and a CGK. Mostly based on posts here, I decided on the Akorn -- and Lowes considerate put it on sale for $269, so off I went.
Gave it a seasoning burn Sunday, then cooked a Boston butt Monday. Took a while to get the temperature right because I took the owners manual seriously. Read a few more posts here and did a whole chicken Wednesday. Following the advice I found here, it was easy to maintain a steady temperature.
