  2. We talking about the backstrap (loin) or the tenderloin here? Both great cuts but if that's the tenderloin it's HUGE! Either way sounds great and congrats on the buck. I rarely buy any red meat at the store. Freezer is full of venison and wild hogs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Living in TX, I've killed and eaten a lot of wild hogs. It is diff than the pork you buy in the stores but I love it. Main diff is that it will be much leaner than store bought and you really have to take steps to not let it dry out. I enjoy the taste of wild pork, it just has more flavor in my opinion. Good luck with your cook, I think you will like it!
