  1. Thanks everyone!! Really great advice. I now realise my top end price was too high. I will go in much lower given everything that has been said. Probably too low to please the seller, but that's not my problem. I'd much rather pay a bit more for a solid warranty than get a sweet deal now and get stuck with a bum deal over the long term. Good honest advice as expected. And much appreciation to keeperofdaflame for such a detailed explanation of the KJ D& C system on a BGE setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hi gurus Just wondering what your thoughts on this are. I am able to pick up a good condition 2nd hand BGE (large) but without accessories. Basically just the egg itself, cart, cover and grill. I will have to buy the plate setter etc. Was just wondering if I do manage to negotiate to the price I am prepared to pay, would a (large) KJ D&C system fit the egg? What are your guys general thoughts? Thanks in advance for all the comments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hey &roid. Have a try of the baby backs from Morrison's. They are actually pretty damn fine! I'd even say better than some of the spares I got from my 'real' butcher. They can be a bit hit and miss though, but its easy to spot when they have a good batch in. I have a beer/meat fridge in the garage, so when I see some decent meaty looking ones, then I stockpile Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
