  1. Food is generally always free. There is usually a Bge tent with accessories and sometimes other vendors if it's not put on directly by BGE (ace, local hardware store) My experience with the mini, not many accessories available and the ones you do want won't be at the fest. Not enough demand to bring them along Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Egg price

Where do you live? Look for eggfestss in your area. The north Georgia mountain eggfest has them for around $750 I believe with the egg, nest, coal, ash tool and two free tickets for the event. Just keep that kinda thing in mind. Plus it comes with a full warranty just like a dealer purchase. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  3. I'd spend the money on the Joe. I have an XL egg, a mini, had a large and medium and another mini. The additions of the new kj are pretty nice and show that they listen to their customer base. Their warranty is just as good I've heard and the accessories that come standard would cost more in the long run for the XL egg. Just my two cents on the subject Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  4. No idea on the first ones. I got my first mini in 2006 Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  5. So did you get it? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  6. If it's never been registered and you have the receipt as well (hope you scored that too) then you could input all the info. Otherwise, it would be difficult to Warranty the egg. Great find though, did it have the nest as well? Take a small screwdriver handle, and tap the draft door. It might free up Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  7. It's a no brainier, buy it!! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  8. Finally got the medium fixed up and ready to cook. My friend can.e yesterday to pick it up and give to her father for Christmas. She was supper happy and couldn't wait to give it to him. (14 days before Christmas!) Final product Sitting with the family, minus my xl. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  9. You can use that or paper towels soaked in olive oil. I use the fire starter cubes. $15 at ace hardware for 144 of them. If I don't do that, I use the paper towel with a chimney or a heat gun. One that you get at lowes Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  10. I finished a large last month with the help of some people from a Facebook page. It turned out really good too. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  11. I picked this little medium guy for one large bill yesterday. It's in pretty bad shape, but after some hard work it should work just like new. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  12. The mini now has a plate setter. You can get one from big green egg. I got one with mine Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  13. I'm book marking your receipt though. I'm going to try it for sure! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  14. That looks delicious. We make a traditional yellow curry that's ....ok... But this looks phenomenal!! I like that you use the basil too. Love basil. My favorite so far is spicy Thai basil chicken. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  15. You can get a plate setter for it. As well as a carry nest. After selling my first mini, I regretted it everyday. So I found this one for $180. They are fun to use and quick to hear up and change temps easily. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
