I assume from your photo, it will not store the joetisserie?

I love paella, and I enjoy entertaining, so I've searched around to see what the biggest pan size paella pan I could get. Most of what I saw were pictures of delicious paellas, with various range sizes. The Big Joe is 24", so one might think a 20" (rim diameter) pan with the handles should fit perfectly. I wasn't going to take that chance and have to either reship or bend up the handles. I took the bite on an 18" pata negra pan from La Tienda, and here are some photos. There is about an inch or so of space for closure past the handles, so anything larger than that, would require some adjustment.

Looking to get a paella pan as well. Can you tell me if 17 was the rim diameter or from handle edge to handle edge? How much more room would say was left, or was this an exact fit? I see 18" and 22" pans being sold online.

I received mine today, and it's built like a tank. It's hard to explain, but it doesn't hang off the divide and conquer rack. It sits on the bottom portion of the firebox, and you rotate your divide and conquer rack into those hooks. If you are subscribed to the "Kamado Joe Grilling, Smoking and more" Facebook group (needs subscription) https://www.facebook.com/groups/500015733460665/ there is a post that contains plenty of photos, and comparison against an existing KAB. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10216263641653648 For those who don't have access to Facebook, The KJ basket has 4 hooks that allow it to hang off the Flexible Cooking System Rack. The hooks are flat on top allowing you to sit the heat deflectors on them.

One of the first accessory items I would like to make a part of my new Big Joe (via Costco Roadshow) is an ash basket. I figured Kick Ash Basket was the only player on the market, but I stumbled on one of the videos on the Kamado Joe Facebook page where Eric Gephart makes a visit to the Atlanta Grill Company (https://www.facebook.com/KamadoJoe/videos/10156477205939187/). At 1:53 and 2:34 you can see a "new KJ Basket". The KJ version has 4 handles and a open air divider compared to the KAB having 2 handles and the divider, sold separately, is plated stainless steel and adjustable.
