I have the same shears. Love them and use them often for Spatchcock Chicken. Very durable, strong and sharp.
As John said above, I too have a lot of OXO gear in my kitchen and everything worked great. I did take all the plastic ware apart and filled the handle grips with silicone and put the handles back on. I don’t like that the rubber handles fill up with dishwater when you cleans them. I always had to take them apart, dry them and leave them out to finish drying internally before putting away. Guess I’m a bacteria freak? Anyway, since the handles are filled with silicone, they are better balanced, solid and never fill with water.
