  1. With the diffuser, I find 225 doable when the the lid stays closed, but becomes problematic when the lid opens. I think I'll be happy with 240-250 for trouble free cooks.
  2. Anyone know what grate is in the bottom pic? Seems like the perfect easily cleanable grate.
  3. Why do you have to take it out or plug it up? I just close the top vent and it snuffs the fire without having to remove the adapter or rubber tube. Most nights I just leave the BBQ controller out. I mean people do leave them out overnight for 18 hour low and slows, right? I have a covered deck but will probably bring it in when the weather turns humid.
