  1. Tell you what , send me your Timberline for testing , I will send you my YS640 [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. yeah you sure were running in circles about a pellet smoker. What did we do? go back and forth about them. I had you ready to pull the trigger on the Yoder, but I am so happy that you decided to go with the Timberline. I know you will give honest feedback as does all of us here at the Kamadoguru.com site. I just couldnt trust what others were saying especially when several have "Traeger" tattooed on themselves. Hurry up and start breaking this thing in, I am very curious, besides I do need something on our upper deck for Wifey to use
  3. now your just showing off lol j/k
  4. Yeah he has an awesome set of cookers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I am in Illinois and our Yoder is great. Insulated would be nice. I guess Yoder and Mak have enough people buying what they offer now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I don't monitor Pellet consumption. From owning and using a YS640 go buy it you won't be sorry , if concerned about pellet usage load it up worth each Cook and freeze leftovers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Here are the videos FullSizeRender.MOV FullSizeRender (1).MOV IMG_4397.MOV
  8. Break in time. Ran for hours on one bag of charcoal since firing it up this morning. Can't post videos from the app [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Pellets are not going to compete with lump in a Kamado. I have filled hopper with 20 pounds of pellets and cooked for 12 hours and still have plenty of pellets. But I have heard it uses ally of pellets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Timberline features are awesome , I still couldn't risk the longevity of the cooker. I will be watching the Timberline closely and wish it success. If I were to purchase all over again , I would still pick the Yoder over the Traeger or RecTec Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. At 50% I would get it and see if it's to your liking. If it is not, I think you would be able to sell it easily. Very convenient with pellet cooker, and already having a Kamado you are covered for any cook that arises Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Build quality still not as good though. But feature set, oh my thetimberkine has them. For us the basic set it forget that the Yoder provides is perfect along with that bullet proof build quality Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It comes with second shelf , stainless steel shelves, probe port standard no more of the stickout style. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You won't be sorry, that's for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I have been skeptical about pellet grills. We have had our YS640 for a few months now. One of the best investments we have made as far as cooking is concerned. Some days we don't have time to babysit our Offset and want to go high heat on one of our Kamado grills. This grill has its place. Will it replace the other cookers? Of course not. It can for some people but not for us at this time in our life. I do see a YS1500 or larger pellet cooker coming at some point if business can go in the upward direction. If anyone has been contemplating one of these.... run to your dealer and get one. If your in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, or Iowa let me know I can help you receive sooner than waiting 10-14 weeks for one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
