No kidding. If I could find back ribs with that much meat, I'd never buy any other kind. Lucky Aussies...

I've been using the B&B oak for a while. No complaints at all. It does spark and pop quite severely when lighting with a torch though so be aware of that.

These work great. We've been pestered by flies recently so I ordered 2 of these (one for me and one for my son) and we've hardly seen a fly since they were delivered. Want to keep flies away? Carry or have a Bug-A-Salt gun around.

Those wings look fantastic. I need to do some soon - been too long.

Talbert, how long have you been able to run on your battery pack? I've been contemplating getting one for a while but would like to know I could likely get at least 10 hours out of it if need be.

Just downloaded. Thanks for the heads up!

That is one beautiful steak!

Reminds me I have been meaning to try his hot dog chili recipe but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Have to get it on the agenda soon - those dogs look great.

That burger looks great and that sauce is now on my 'to do' list next time I make burgers!

Out-friggin-standing. Bravo.

I've had a couple and the one sure-fire lesson I've learned is that you really do get what you pay for when it comes to a PWS. None of mine have ever been connected to WU but I do want to save up and spring for a higher end one one day and do that.

I've gone 6 hours with a brisket and it was still plenty hot.

I wish I had grabbed one of these before they quit making them. Don't know why they stopped. I use a lodge press now that doesn't have ridges and it seems to work OK. You can try this instead: https://www.cast-iron-grate.com/smasher.html

You mean less even compared to another ceramic like the KJ or BGE? I couldn't answer that as I have never cooked on one of the others. I love my Oval XL. It does tend to get a bit hotter towards the back than in the front but nothing unmanageable or intolerable. I'm of the opinion that every grill tends to have hotter/cooler spots - including my Camp Chef Flat Top.

Absolutely agree that FB's customer service is top notch. Maybe the best I've ever dealt with.
