  2. Yes put another layer of Felt Gasket material and that will hold it tight, Call customer support and they should send you a piece, If not get this https://www.amazon.com/Kamado-Joe-KJ-GA23-Gasket-Classic/dp/B00HYLBT9O/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=kamado+gasket+material&qid=1569013609&s=gateway&sr=8-6

Because of the age of your Big Joe your most likely not going to be able to find the parts needed to add the shelves, Your best bet is to get a cart that has shelves on it
  4. Ive had my Big Joe for 6 years, Classic and Jr for 4 and have only had one break and that was on me, I dropped it, I do not wrap them with foil but I do use drip pans, I flip them with every cook
  5. I depends on what position you have the deflectors at Lower position you will see Sub 200 to 350 Middle position 350 - 500 Upper position 500 +

  9. If you have the D&C rack in your Joe, The grates from the new ones will fit
  10. I like the idea but it probably would be a seasonal section
  11. Its still a work in progress but it functional
  12. Since KJ has no plans on making a ash drawer for the Junior I would like to see Chad with KAB who recently came out with the Kick Ash Can for the Large BGE which looks like an easy way to remove ash, I would love to see him make one made for the KJ junior
  13. I have 2 Big Joe's, 1 has the KAB and the other has the KJ Basket, They both work great so you will not go wrong with either of them, But I will say the KJ is a little more robust than the KAB
  14. Another thing to keep in mind when buying used, Yes you wont be covered by the warranty but if you purchase a replacement part for the used grill, that part WILL be covered by KJ's warranty there after
  15. I set mine directly on the stones but Im not trying to save drippings like some do and It may not be the best thing for the planet but I use disposable aluminum foil lids as my drip pan
  16. My ash pans in my BJ and Classic are 4 and 3 years old and I have had zero issues but I will say it did work better with the one piece firebox vs the new multi piece one but that's only because it fit tighter on the old one so less ash got under it.
  17. If you have extender racks you can load it up
