  1. The response from Masterbuilt is "Are you leaving your unit out in the rain or smoking when it rains? This is an electric unit and should not be in the rain at all."
  2. I love my Kamado Joe, but I bought a Masterbuilt pellet smoker from Sam's for some easy cooks and cheaper grilling space when needed. I love the way it does ribs. However, I have one problem. I keep getting wet pellets. I try to keep the cover on it and do most of the time, but if I forget I have a mess. Is this the case for all pellet grills if you don't have a cover? I have thrown away quiet a bit of pellets. Thanks for the help.

  14. I am really enjoying the KJ I recently purchased from Costco. I have also think the KJ lump is awesome. I have the low and slow down. I have made some pulled pork as good as I have had anywhere. However, I am struggling with just the weeknight cook of burgers. I am having a hard time bringing it up to temp. I hear people say just shake off the charcoal and fire it up. The only way I am having success is clearing out the whole firebox and adding all new. That is a pain every time and wasteful. What am I doing wrong?
