  1. Look Good! I cooked a 17lb brisket this weekend too. What wasn't eaten during the meal was taken home in doggy bags by all the guests. I got thank-you messages frompeople today while they enjoyed lunch! I too love cooking, but sharing it is great. People think that you have preformed some sort of voodoo magic to cook such a great tasting, tender, juicy piece of meat!

  6. I made some ribs this weekend and sent an extra rack home with our guests, he sent me a message the next morning saying that the leftover ribs tasted even better for breakfast. Kamado leftovers really are good!

  10. I've been lurking your forums for a while now, so I thought I would create a profile and get to know you guys/girls a little better. I live in Alberta, Canada, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with food. I am fairly new to the kamado world, I spent a fair amount of time researching and finally purchased a Primo XL last month. I am really happy with my purchase and I have been using it at least 3-5 times a week, I haven't touched my gas grill since unpacking the Primo. My work schedule is somewhat flexible, so there are days that I sneak home to fire up the grill and start the meat that I prepared the night before, then I head back to work and check in on it periodically (although, I did just a get a CyberQ WiFi setup that should make remote cooking a little more enjoyable). The kids have also been loving pizza nights, I don't think that we have ordered a pizza delivery since the Primo got set up. I have already been documenting a bunch of my cooks mainly for my own learning experience, but now I will be sure to turn some of my pictures and notes into forum posts so that I can share them with all of you and hopefully pick up some tips along the way (I already have learned a bunch from lurking this page). The snow is really coming down today, but I'm about to go spark the lump for some beef ribs that I'm cooking for tonight.
