Hi everyone. Sorry me and ckreef haven't been on here in a while. Just had alot on our Plate. It's settling down now, so figure we would jump back on the Challenges.
These Rolls are 30 minutes from Start to Finish including grill time. I wanted some Yeast Rolls to make even on a week night and clicked on the first recipe I saw and read it thru and gave them a try. Made twice in Oven but had to give them a go on the grill.
Ingredients:
Simple ingredients
Mixed all up
Placed in a greased pan, covered with a towel, let rise
After 10 minute rise
Brushed with milk, then cooked in a 400* kamado for 12 minutes.
I can't believe how good these rolls are. If you want yeast rolls on a week night, these are the ones to make. Fluffy rolls with the taste of Yeast, that seem like they took hours to make. Will post recipe in the bread section as soon as I get a chance.
Enjoy!
Thanks for looking

I think I've seen some posts from @skreef that she uses coconut charcoal for her baking.
Yes you did. I use the coconut cause it doesn't have a smoke profile. I use it for delicate cooks such as breads and desserts.

Never heard of the name but recognized "donuts". Make me want to go make some. Great "sweet" cook

Thanks a lot! The Almond tartlet recipe was:
Shortcrust pastry (shop bought, but you can of course make your own)
4oz softened butter
4oz golden caster sugar
2 large eggs beaten
4 oz almond meal (I used Bob's Red Mill)
1 tbsp plain flour
Beat the sugar and softened butter together until creamy, then incorporate the eggs, almond meal and plain flour.
Spoon filling into pastry disks sized to fit your baking tray(s) - you can either do tartlets or one large tart. If you are doing one large one, you should probably blind bake the pastry case first.
Then I added a Luxardo maraschino cherry to the middle of each one and some flaked almonds. Lesser cherries are of course available, or really any fruit you like. You could also put some jam/jelly in the pastry cases prior to adding the filling.
Bake at 350-400F for 20-40 minutes depending on your oven/cooker arrangment.
When cooked and cooled dust with a little icing sugar to serve.
They were really good. Enjoy!
Thanks so much. Going to make these. Love Almond. Thanks for sharing

Oh boy... I don't want the missus givin' me the stink eye! But here's the deal. I know exactly how well she cooks. And I think this grill is ultimately gonna be hers and she may share it with you if you are nice
But also I know how much you appreciate quality and you are gonna be impressed with the build on this grill. It's not a toy grill.
Thank you Mr. John. Yep @ckreefmight just loose a grill to the Misses. I let him think for a couple days it's his....mum's the word. Skreef is in for a steal ...

Great looking soup. Now is the weather for it. One addition we top ours with flour tortillas that we slice 1/4inch then deep fry for about a minute or so warning they go from light tan to the trash can quickly.
Thank you @len440. Haven't thought of frying flour tortillas. Kewl idea.
