  2. Hi Mrs. Reef, Cooked them direct for 11-13 minutes @ 500-600 degrees. Seasoned with sea salt, garlic and onion powder. It was one big piece of wagyu rump cap cut into four smaller pieces. Very tasty! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. I think I would be more inclined to come if I was buying a KJ BUT considering the difficulty (at least for me in San Antonio) to get the new lump I probably would drive down to load up on lump. I don't think they have any alert system.. Unfortunate.

  13. Gurus, Has anyone cooked two packer briskets (at the same time) in a classic joe? Thinking of using placing one on the extender and alternating them every few hours? Feedback on yay or nay please Luis
  14. Good day Gurus, Today's cook: Choice Tri-tip reversed seared. Rubbed down the meat with virgin olive oil and then used uncle chris steak seasoning. Cooked on KJ indirect @ 250 until IT hit 120. Removed from KJ and opened up vents until temp. Reached 625 seared for 3 minutes each side. Ate with some roasted potatoes and French green beans. Sorry folks - I didn't even have a chance to get a money shot it disappeared too fast!

  20. John - This is a great idea! Maybe you can expand to have guest appearances like Bobby B.? It would be nice to have him provide a sneak peek of future KJ products. With or without guests I still think this is a great idea. bravo! Luis
