  1. First attempt at Beer Can Chicken on the Dragon Egg Kamado....... Turned out beautifully moist with crisp skin and infused with an interesting flavor, using Thai Beer Chang and Thai herbs and spices, Garlic, Lemon Grass, Ginger, sweet Basil & chilies.... Directions: - Open beer and drink half - Chop herbs & Spices and push into can - Make small holes just below rim of can - Insert can into chicken cavity - Place upright on grill at approx. 200 Degrees for 50 mins - Increase to 250 degrees for last 10 min to crisp up skin - Serve with Thai sticky rice and sweet chilly dipping sauce. I bought one ready made. Not sure if the heat deflector should ne used but it turned out nice anyway without.
  2. Did you make your own dough? Looks like it turned out pretty awesome. Yes, I used this recipe: http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/bread-recipes/basic-pizza/ Seemed to work well with the not so good Thai flour. I left it out for 1 hour to rise in the warm temperature here. Maybe its better in the refrigerator over night. I don't know. Maybe try that next time. I'm having fun anyway...................
  3. First attempt at a breakfast pizza in my Dragon Egg Kamado. Mozzerella and cheddar cheese, Sausage, Bacon, Free Range Eggs, fresh tomato and cracked black pepper. Cooked at 500 degrees for 5 mins. Enjoy.......... Its not easy to get good bread flour here in Thailand, so I was happy with the result

  7. Hi All Alan here, new to this forum and based in Thailand. After looking at buying a Kamado grill here I found it really difficult to purchase a quality product so sourced from overseas. Realizing a gap in he market in SE Asia we have set up a new brand - Dragon Egg. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dragon-Egg/1019846181374707 Im here to learn about Kamado cooking recipes and techniques from fellow members.
