Hey Grillers, I just found this wickedly cool BBQ Bible made by a company in Brazil. Only a few of them were made for master Barbecue chefs and a simpler version will be available in Brazilian stores only. There's a link to the video on my blog http://www.gratefulgriller.com/2014/05/08/the-bbq-bible-is-here/ I am soooo hoping they make this available outside Brazil! Feed your fires! G

Hey keeperovdeflame! Awesome digestive on its own or in coffee, 50-60 proof if good stuff and although I've never done anything with it from a marination point of view it will most likely be superb with that chicken recipe. If you have a proper marinator even better, so the liquor gets right into the fibre of the meat. I'd marinate for at least 24 hours. Please shout out how it goes as I'd be curious to know. Feed your fires!

Fuel21 Bleeding Edge Fire Starter!
thegratefulgriller replied to thegratefulgriller's topic in Accessories & Product Reviews
Hey KamadoCobra!Right you are. Due to toxins and chemical agents absorbing into the porous ceramic walls they've never been supported. The product I tested is called Fuel21 out of the USA and is completely organic and non toxic so there's nothing to absorb. It's a clean flame, odourless and most importantly is made from sustainable sugarcane. G I like this idea but you sound like a sales rep. Hey Marty!Cheers man for chiming in! I'm certainly affiliated with Fuel21 through my own cooking concept as you can clearly read on my site. More importantly though, I'm happy to hear you like the idea. If you do come across the product, please let me know what you think. Feed your fires man!- 8 replies

Not a good day for me or for my Vision Classic
thegratefulgriller replied to aljoseph's topic in Vision Kamado
Hey Al! Wow! That is a gap and a half indeed. If you do in fact take it back and decide not to get another Vision you should check out the recent promo offer from Primo on free accessories with their oval cookers. I just posted an article on my blog yesterday. If you're looking at KJ, they just recently confirmed that all warranties parts will be shipping free anywhere in North America. Their Classic and Big Joe models are flying here in Canada and beyond from what I hear. Good luck on the next purchase! G -

Hello kamado friends! I want to inform people on the forum about an awesome product that I discovered a year ago here in Canada as I was researching gel based fire starters. Some of you probably know, there's been debate on using this kind of product to light your cooker but I can confidently report that after testing this sugarcane based fire starting gel, it works really well. ( even in my kamado cookers!!!) Zero toxins, zero chemical agents, zero petroleum, odourless and can be used inside or out to light everything from wood stoves, pellet stoves, charcoal Bbq's etc. Would love to hear people's view points and feed back on fire gels. Feed your fires! The Grateful Griller
