  4. Heck of a price on the stone. I went to 4 stores before I found one at Lowes for $30 or 35 (can't remember).
  5. I poured the juice in the glass dish- didn't want to tear up the aluminum one. I want to try to get a few uses out of them The picture isn't the best, but I grilled a rack of lamb up last night. I cut the rack into 2 bone chops, then made a marinade of rosemary, black pepper, fresh mint, and garlic and combined with enough water to make a kind of a paste. I let that sit for an hour, then did 3 minutes per side on a hot grill. I love lamb.

  7. No doubt- some detours (I prefer that term ) are well worth it.
  8. Carrot cake- my favorite vegetable. I would tear that up.
  9. I checked today, and I still have a decent amount of charcoal left. Maybe my leak isn't as big as I thought. Got the ash tray put on correctly. I didn't notice until I had fired it up and it was warm, but they put it on backwards, which should have been readily evident in the picture above
