We are a kamado factory in Yixing,China. Since there is a lot of discussion in this forum regarding ceramic part of kamados, we would like to briefly introduce a bit about our production flow for kamado ceramic grills in our factory. First of all, I would like to introduce about Yixing, a city famous for its Zisha (Yixing) Teapot. The Zisha teapot has thousand year history in Yixing city,China. The materials for this teapot is produced only in Yixing and now in limited supply, source mince for such clay is even prohibited for producing now. The production and culture developed in this city give its advantage in ceramics also for a long history. There are many refactory product factories in Yixing as well. Ceramic part of kamado in China is made from refactory materials by high fire heat.
