Side Shelves - Template / Replacement?

Hey guys,

I have a Classic, and after 1 year of Maritime weather and my lack of covering my side shelves are looking rather sad. Now that mine are all warped and not fit for fire wood, I thought it would be a great time to replace them; I should have taken a outline to fab up some replacements in cedar but I didn't.

Anyone know of any resources for previous experience replacing these?

Hey Scotty. If you want, I can trace mine and mail it to you. Let me know, and then you can send me a private message  with your address.

Another option would be to build a table and call it a day.

After a year of being left outside mine are looking pretty rough so this is the way I think I'm going to go.

Me too, even though mines still in warranty, I feel as though I'm troubling Laurie, and don't want to be perceived as a whiner.  I'll get a wood guy to make me some new ones, but at the moment it's not top of the list.

When I had my Visions Kamado years back, my side shelves were something I didn't like.  I went to a kitchen counter top manufacturer and they gave me some scraps of Corian very cheap....I cut/routed them out....loved them until I sold it.  Note..they are NOT heat resistant though to any serious degree.
