HTTom
I have a huge concern with my Akron. The last time I used it, it looked like the first picture. Today, when I went to use it, it was strangely different. See the second picture. I know the winter here was brutal, but I never expected things to shrink so much due to cold. Anybody else ever have this happen? ckreef, ajmcedar, Dub and 9 others

Jack.
As it descended, the landing pods deployed to soften the impact. The effects of hypergravity compressed the overall surface, creating a new, smaller, but equally effective cooker. You should be very happy about this. Aussieasador
There are other "things" that start very big, and no matter how cold might be the weather, the hot of the moment makes things happen. Then things shrink till the 22 jahr, blond haar, comes back again to heat you up !!!!!!!!!! German translaion: jahr = year blond= blonde und haar= hair My latin blood................................well I am not 100% Australian............................ :-D :-D :-D :-D
captndan
While you were asleep the Acorn had a baby. That happens in the winter.

Dub
I'm hoping to spring for a shrunken version of my kamado soon, too. That is an awesome looking table and a great pair of kookers,
HTTom
Sold the Big Akorn; Sold the table. Bought a Jr. I am moving so I am trying to get rid of stuff. I am going to like the Jr. Just the right size for me. I think I will use it more than I did the big one. ckreef
