Yeah, I've done some lighting design as part of A/V and home theater consulting which has made up a small amount of my business and this year I expanded to offering lighting and electronics work for the hobby/collector market. All those shelves are lit with prototypes of my lighting system and electronic features powered by my battery replacement products (on the Tumbler for instance). All the SW stuff in that photo is low-end Kenner/Hasbro stuff, but my market for the lighting and electronics is on the higher end - like the Batman stuff on the bottom shelf and other shelves not in this photo.

Nah, I don't do the convention thing. I do have a Princess Leia costume. [emoji4] I have watched all the movies probably a dozen times. As a small child, instead of Barbie's, I collected Star Wars figures. Can't wait to check out the new movie.

I am looking to buy a Kamado Grill/Smoker I am looking for advice from people that have actually purchased and used one. I am also looking to buy one reasonably priced, Best Bang for the Buck.  I really like the Kamado Joe but they are definitely a bit pricey. So all advice from experienced Kamado buyers and users are appreciated

      Thank you
      Anthony

Today was just one of those days... Went to the store looking for what I wanted to cook up this weekend and Ribeyes were on sale. Thankfully the butchers were still around so I asked for some thick ### steaks to help bring a smile to my face. I think the butcher was just as happy to prepare the steaks for me as I was watching her cut them up and wrap them. I may have been drooling a bit and giggling like a 12 year old girl, but that's neither here or there.

Went with a reverse sear for these babies, setting up the coals on the Big Joe to one side and cooking the steaks indirect to an IT of 130. After I pulled them off, I opened the top hue and let the temps get up to 600 so I could get a nice sear. Sorry for not adding the "money shot" once we cut into those bad boys I was too busy eating to take any pictures.

Wife decided she wanted some ribs yesterday but we were pressed with time with all of the rearranging going on in the yard. Managed to finish these in just under 2 hours. Of course wife deep fried a few.

I haven't seen anything posted on this... Does anyone have issues with creosote build up on their daisy wheel, at the top of their Joe?  Lately I have to take the whole assembly off and run it under hot water, just to open up the vent and to turn the wheel.  Next smoke, completely frozen from creosote and I have to take it off again, and again.  Any suggestions would be fantastic!
