Australia Day slow roasted leg of lamb

Hi guys,

This Monday just gone was Australia Day, its traditional that everyone has a BBQ and drinks far too many beers so not one to break tradition I gladly followed suit.

Here's what I produced in the akorn, a slow roasted (8 hours) leg of lamb that fell off the bone when it was finished.

And then not to waste the heat, I knocked up a loaf of bread

A good time was had by all!

That sounds like just about every holiday here. Lol!! Nice looking grub.

 

Almost, but, trust me they drink a lot more beer (grog, pi#ss) over there. I've never been so glad to see last call as I have in Gundagai.

 

Almost forgot, awesome looking cook, leg of lamb or shank over there is one of my favorites!!!
