That looks terrific mate! Nice job with that bird. I usually cook Spatch but lately I have been mixing things up, my last was beer can and I think I liked the way the skin crisped up cooking that way.

cool that will be my next cook adventure all my other chicken cooks have been in the oven love a crispy skin

A couple of things I learned....

1. I don't waste beer in the cook. I fill the can/stand with HOT liquid, garlic, lime and seasoning, I don't waste beer on it!

2. Most cook it at 325-350F, but I find that doesnt really crisp up the skin so I cook mine at 375F.

Just my opinion!
