The reviews on it are pretty weak. It's current price of $599 would keep me away from it since the Vision Kamado is similarly priced and has a really great reputation via the users on this site...

I saw one and without trying to offend anyone that owns one I would pass. If I recall correctly I think they have a short warranty too.

A coworker of mine picked up a kamado for her husband recently. We have discussed grilling in the past and she was aware that I have owned one for awhile. She was asking if I knew anything about the one she bought. She said it was a brown colored kamado and she purchased it at OSH Hardware store on closeout for $399. I have no idea what brand OSH carries, and wasn't even aware they had one for sale. Has anyone seen a kamado at OSH? I'll have to drop by one of their stores and check it out. My first thought was that it might be a Browning. Her husband grilled some tri tps that she brought to a potluck function last week, and I must say that he got the hang of cooking on a kamado in a hurry, as they were outstanding.

-saw the Browning at Bass Pro. I own an Akorn. Go see one if you can. Make sure you see different units so you can compare.

I am quite happy with my Akorn...

Saw one at Bass Pro Shops the other day. Cooking racks are cheaply made and thinner than anything else I have seen. If anyone looks at anything else I don't see how they could buy one of these especially for the price they are asking.
