Resting Brisket

Thanks. When making the burnt ends, do you let the point rest before cutting it as well?

 

No, I'll slice the point immediately off the smoker for burnt ends. No real advantage to resting it. And the point is so freakin' moist anyway that you're not worried about a bit of juice coming out.
