Chicken sliders on CI griddle in the Jr.

Recommended Posts

Tonight's meal was awesome. One of those times when the meal comes together.

I started with fresh ground chicken thighs mixed with bread crumbs, KJ steak rib and an egg. I made 2 oz slider patties.

The Joe Jr was loaded up with FOGO and my underused CI griddle @ 500 F. Two minutes per side.

Enjoy the photos. 79e2990c8260c7a71103e955b3d43bdf.jpg

those look tasty!

please top mines with crisp bacon, Dijon, and avocado.

Thanks. Sounds like a great flavor combo. Things were rushed at the end. Everyone was hungry. Kids melting down.. Ect.

@Mewantkj - nice color, healthy sliders. Beautiful cook. When did you begin burning FOGO? Did I miss yet another memo? I thought you were KJ through and through! We're gonna get you in a KK yet! Come to the dark side, Ben.

Kudos and congrats on a very nice cook!

I rave about KJ lump and FOGO equally. I started using it several months ago.

I cook with rubs other than KJ...

That being said, I am a HUGE KJ fan, no one is surprised by that. When my Bigjoe first arrived and there was a minor issue, who calls me back, Bobby Brennan, one of the Owners. That is just one of the many many many examples of the top notch service I have recieved from Kamado Joe. I am sure other companies do a good job too...

As far as a KK, of Dennis wants to ship me one, I will cook the heck out of it, but until then I have two educations to save for...

Best bang for the buck buddy!

That's what I should have done with my chicken thighs tonight. Looks perfectly delicious!

I love when I have time to grind my own meat.

You had me on the first picture but the cheese and double stack at the end just did me in.

Thanks, they tasted even better than they looked!

I honestly thing the freshly ground meat makes a huge differance.
