Recommended Posts

A great cook on the Blackstone. We love ours for quick pizza. I'm making one tonight.

This is making me want to try one of those blackstone ovens even more :)

I have had a CL search going for a while. O have had zero hits on blackstone.

There is one for sale about 2.5 hours from me. https://lakecity.craigslist.org/for/5631771027.html

It's been posted for almost a month now. Maybe if it's still there in October and we plan a trip to Universal Studios, I'll pick it up on the way through ;)

Still new in box - that is a really great deal - somebody should snatch that up.

I missed a great deal on one but I don't think I really need it, I'd rather have a Blackstone griddle. My wife wants a brick oven, she really liked the one they had at Sam's Club for $800. It may be something we get in the future once the patio is done.

She's a keeper!

The Blackstone pizza oven is a great device. I've had one for a couple of years. There are some really good threads about tips/tricks with these over on the pizzamakingforum site.

Jack, I have been sitting on the fence for quite some time, even though the wife has long ago given me the purchase go ahead. She looked at the pics of one of your earlier cooks and quickly said "heck yeah, go ahead and get one of those". I think you just pushed me over the fence. looking to purchase one next week. Amazing looking pies, try as I might the kamado struggles to put out a crispy edged pepperoni pie like that.

I see a great benefit in the blackstone oven... I am learning how to make great pizzas so i am experimennting a lot right now. I am burning up,a ton of charcoal in the process and taking a lot of time to heat and cool the grills. This is almost a no brainer for me. If i get some free time at work tomight i might just go ahead and order it

The time saving alone makes the Blackstone worth it. I usually cook 3 md sized pies. Once my dough balls are ready I go outside and fire up the Blackstone. By the time I have all 3 built the Blackstone is ready to go. I can cook 3 pies and have them all on the table ready to eat in less than 12 minutes. That sure beats 8 minutes per pie.

Thank you, Keeper.  I've had mine a couple of years now, and it has so completely transformed the way I make pizza, I don't think I will ever go back.

I believe you will never regret the purchase, John.  Good Luck.   :good:
