If you were to buy a smoker that wasn't a Kamado

I totally agree, Marty. I also don't really have the space to maintain a wood pile here in suburbia. My kamados and kettles just make more sense. 

Considering how much less fuel and how little tending a Kamado requires that video really makes me appreciate them. even more

 

I would love to have one once a year to use at an all day party. That one really looks like a quality unit.

My wife and I own 5 kamado's and we just picked up an oklahoma joe highland, after assembling the oklahoma joe the wife and decided we wanted better quality without modding. We pulled the trigger on a Yoder Kingman. We are giving the Highland to my brother in law(wife's Brother).  We will always use our kamado's but we will also do large amounts of Brisket and Pork Butts on this offset. We have been doing some catering lately.
