Just wanted to say hi. I got my Akorn as a gift from my fiance for Christmas of 2015 and I have found myself coming here time and time again for tips as I get further into cooking (Philpom's low and slow starting method with the cotton balls is something I use religously now). I have worked my way through wuite a few tri-tip cooks, ribs and most recently a Boston Butt that I'm working on at the moment. Thanks for all the info so far and I hope to contribute something here soon!

A big Texas howdy!  Hailing from the ATX.  Been cooking on my KJ Classic for a few years and started rocking the Junior when they came out.  First and foremost, thanks to all of you (ya"ll) forum contributors for all the good information.  This forum has really been a big help!
