tracourt
I have a Vision Grill Classic B. When I raise the top sometimes the top vent falls off. This is not due to over exerting when opening it. Sometimes the motion of closing it makes the top vent also fall off. How do the prongs on the underside of the top vent help, they don't go out far enough to grab anything.
smokinGTO
You can take the top off, bend the clips out so that they are snug when you put the top back on and it should hold just fine. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
deck
I had to replace the felt on mine. Vision sent me 4 pieces and the trimmings left over after I put on the new one. I fastened the short strips around the cap and re bent the metal prongs.
flyingscot64
I think the felt some what helps keep the cap on as well as the clips .
Rob_grill_apprentice
Like deck and flyingscot, said, It is likely the gasket, Remove your cap and look at the gasket. It is likely charred. I have replaced my gasket because cap very loose and when I removed it was badly charred. After I replaced cap was snuggly on.

Sly BBQ
I replaced my top vent factory clips with Plylox Hurricane clips. The top vent is now never loose when I turn it and never falls off. http://plylox.com/
