I started my table build today. This is the start to a long build. I made a hidden drawer for heat deflectors and grates. This will be assembled underneath the bottom shelf of the table.

Excellent idea can't wait to see your progress with the table.

So I have put the full size kj table on hold but I did just build a stand for the kj junior. I'm going to add wood to the top and the middle shelf. The sliding drawer is for grill grates and heat deflectors. I'm open for more suggestions on what to add I put some tie down hooks on the side for traveling and for the cover.

Decided I would stick with all steel construction. I have to cut the middle shelf and paint and it will be ready for the joe junior. My wife surprised me the other day with a jr. sitting on the patio. I need to hurry up and finish the stand.

With the couple of posts on Facebook about kj's being stolen I added a couple levels of security to KJ stand. I added a cable that goes through the hinge and I also added "U" bolts to secure the kj stand to the table top. I will try to add some pictures for whatever reason they're not wanting to upload.

I like how you secured the JR to the table. No worries about Humpty Dumpty. Nice job on all of the build.
