Nice ribs...nice kamados!

I have Kamado Joes and a mini bge...I don't understand why no other manufactures have notches out of their kamados to facilitate rotisseries.

Probably because it would weaken the ceramic too much. KK's aren't ceramic. They are made out of refractory cement and are nearly indestructible.

That's what I was thinking bit then it occurred to me...they drill through the bottom to attach a vent cover and there's a hole for the vent. I do wonder if they've even tried though.
