Polar Bear
Hey Guys Stumbled upon this forum when searching for info about the 2017 Kamado Joe models Been using a Gas Smoker and Webber Kettle for years but recently decided I needed a Kamado Joe to really get serious about Smoking and Grilling A good friend of mine who grew up in the US often said "You Aussies don't BBQ, you just cook meat outside" I'm looking forward to bucking the trend and really trying to get my head around the nuances of American Style BBQ CeramicChef

dsarcher
Welcome. I don't care if it is called bbq or outdoor cooking as long as I get to eat it. Enjoy.

Beermachine
Welcome mate. Charring snags on a hotplate is not what this site is about. Good to see the real art of barbecuing is taking off in Australia these days. When I left people still thought that searing meat on a screaming hot hotplate/griddle was considered barbecuing.....
