Made sure to stay hydrated.

Seasoned the chops with some Bad Byron's and grilled on the Kamado.

Added some Apple Slaw and served on dinnerware fitting this culinary classic.

Looks delicious.  Foodsaver did nice job on marinating the chops.

Thanks Rob. The Foodsaver does a good job marinating meats. I hadn't used the marinator in awhile but I was using the Foodsaver to vacuum seal stuff for the freezer so I said what the heck. Chops turned out moist and flavorful.

Great looking cook,  what was your hydration liquid of choice?  And was that a large square ice cube?

Thanks In2Fish. My hydration liquid is Bookers Bourbon. The large square is an ice cube. A family member gave me cube and sphere molds as a gift.

Bookers, excellent choice.  That's nice s..l..o..w... sipping bourbon, that would explain the large cube :)   I have a couple round mold myself, one that fits my glencairn glasses nicely.

Glencairn glasses is definately something I need to add to the repertoire. Booker's is one of my favorite bourbons.
