Cracked Bottom Bowl AGAIN

OP, did you get a replacement and how has it held up?

I have had 2 bottoms crack on me.  Both times I have had to schlep the entire grill back to Costco to exchange them.   PIA as that is what Dansons requires for warranty on any grill sold through Costco.  If it cracks again, which I am sure it will, I will most likely return it one final time and go get a KJ which will send me parts to my house.

I'm pretty new to this kamado thing, and I was pretty stoked. Picked it up a week ago at Costco and have been trying like hell to cook as much as I can on it. Now I'm pretty nervous...I hope you have better luck

Don't worry about it too much.  Cracking is part of owning a Ceramic Kamado.  They all do it, BGE, KJ, Vision, etc.  Worst case is you have to bring the grill back to Costco for a refund.
