I've went through one bag of B&B oak Lump. Just bought a 2nd bag. It's good stuff, however takes a while to get up to temp. Anyone else used this think the same thing?

Would their hickory brand come up to temp quicker?

I've been debating trying it since our Walmart does not sell Royal Oak anymore. I have been using some stuff I got from Costco that's been pretty good except the temps run cooler on it when cooking.

I like the B&B oak lump. It may be my favorite of the brands I've tried. Now that you mention it, maybe it does take a little longer to get up to temp than some of the other stuff I've used. But it seems to burn really long as well. For me, that trade off is worth it.
