kaybee
Life got in the way of posting recently (but fortunately not in the way of cooking). Found a nice Tomahawk steak at CostCo and decided to combine it with smoked blooming onions. Thanks for looking.... kaybee
Many thanks!! Smoked at 225 until 120 internal then a minute a side at 700 degree blast furnace sear to complete. My favourite way to go for thick steaks!!! TKOBBQ, K-ville and bluayeddvl

kaybee
It made really nice wraps for dinner tonight.... Flour tortilla, smear of wasabi paste, chopped romaine, smoked cheddar from earlier this year when it was colder, sliced tomahawk cow and then some green and purple basil from the garden. And yes, they were hard to wrap that's why the pictures are flat faced ckreef and TKOBBQ

I was going to sprinkle it with apple blossoms from the backyard tree just in case someone got picky about adherence to true flowers

bluayeddvl
great cook, kaybee. looks delicious. i came close to picking one of those when i was in yesterday, but opted for wings, back ribs and a couple of those whole pork loin that are $5 off. i'm home for the next couple of weeks, so it won't be nearly enough protein to cook over that time. may have to go back and get me one or two of those. I grabbed one of those pork loins and some chicken thighs when I picked up the tomahawk I guess that means I will have to pick up back ribs as well next time I am in bluayeddvl
