Pork Pot Stickers

Recommended Posts

Rained canceled  work today so me and Mrs skreef tag teamed lunch. Homemade pork pot stickers served with Udon noodle soup and Ginseng tea.

I got this recipe from a you tube video by the Dumpling Sisters (video at end of post). The flavors, proportions and techniques from the video were spot on even if the girls were a little wacky. I will say the rolling and pinching is a bit harder than it looks in the video but not a bad first attempt. My pictures will make more sense if you watch the video.

Definitely going to make a few of their other videos.

Sounds like fun and tasty at the same time.

More like pain in the butt prep  and tasty at the same time - LOL.

Everytime I eat out Chinese I always order pot stickers. I've only had 2 or 3 different pot stickers that were better than these. Next time I make them they'll be even better. That video really is spot on the money.

This just reminds me how much I like potstickers!!  Fun lunch project!

When I was in my early 20's me and my friends use to eat dim sum every Sunday for lunch. We had 3 different restaurants to choose from. Where I live now there is no true dim sum meals to be found. I think I'm going to work my way through a bunch of different dim sum type recipes and eventually have a dim sum feast.

That's why I always prefer Chinese food at lunch- places are much more likely to have dim sum
