Table/Stand Ideas for Kamado Joe Junior

I got it online here:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Costway-Brown-Rattan-Wicker-Steel-Side-Table-Outdoor-Furniture-Deck-Garden-Patio-Pool/115087490

It requires assembly, really easy. Very strong and no issues with the Junior being stable. I used some heavy duty cable ties and anchored the Junior stand on the table so that it will not move at all.

Overall dimension:21.8''x21.8''x18.1''(LXWXH)

It is made of steel, the only pvc parts are the wicker you see on the sides. This is perfect for the Junior and the grill sits at precisely the same height as the classic which is 36.5" from the ground to the top of the handle.

Highly recommend it.

I just ordered one of the Walmart tables for my Jr. Hey @Beermachine. Any way you could post a picture or give me a little more insight on how you secured your stand to the table?

Good stuff. I hope you are as happy with it as I am. Here are some pics of the cable ties I used to secure it. I used 4 heavy duty cable ties to ensure it's not going to move. They may get brittle over time and need to be replaced each year or so. You could also use wire I guess.

Great pictures. Thanks. I really the idea of being able to keep the Jr in the stand. I tried putting it on a shelf that my wife salvaged from work that I had to take it out of the stand. It tipped over and nearly fell when I opened the top to put the firebox back in place. Got my attention. This looks like a very stable set up.

Look on Etsy.  For example, JJ George can make whatever size you want.  https://www.etsy.com/listing/483237393/big-green-egg-mini-max-table

A screen capture of this page and building one this way would be just cut and screw together. Easily built in a day--especially if one had a chop saw. This is better than a set of plans. Doing a finish like that is another matter. Beautiful work and finish. That clear finish on the cedar is awesome.

The Walmart table is still cheaper, easier, faster, and looks great.

I just purchased this item from Amazon, which I will use when I set up the Jr next to the big joe.  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HJATY32/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Assembly is delicate -- but the SS top is nice....I will put something down before I place the Jr.

Nice looking table.   Might be a little bit high when the Jr is put on it, unless you're 6' 6"

I got little kids (and a dog that loves to try to steal food)....the higher the better lol .... I'll check out the height this weekend.  Here it is in my yard next to the Big Joe (which I am happy is higher than my kettle)

BTW -- the Bubble Machine is my secret ingredient .... more bite to the bark! lol

I’ve been very happy with it. It puts the Jr. at a good height for comfortable cooking. I used the zip ties same as you did to secure it to the table and think that is critical to making it work.

Great to hear. You are right, if the grill was not properly secured it will move around slightly, the last thing you need when searing off a steak at 700F+ on a wooden deck! Glad you like it.
