Unread Content, go to first unread post?

5 posts in this topic

I may be missing this but how can I configure Unread Content so that when I click on a thread I'm taken to the first unread post?

I know I can save a custom activity stream to do this (and that may be the only answer) but was wondering if I can tweak the default view so I didn't have to take the extra step and select the custom view.

Thanks in advance.

Get unread content displayed then click show filters. In there is a sort order where you can change what gets displayed first. (you want newest first)

Show filters is where you tweak how content streams behave.

As far as going to the first unread post in a thread that is accomplished by clicking the small icon next to the thread title. (circle means you haven't posted in that thread yet, a star means you have posted in the thread). Click the circle or star instead of the thread title. If you just click the thread title you go to post #1.

In my first post above I think I was reading your question wrong. Between those 2 answers should cover what you're looking to do.
