JayhawkPharmer
Not sure what I would do wth this, but it looks pretty nice. No idea what the value would be, either as a collectible or useable Kamado. For $350, I don't think I would get enough use out to of it, but thought I'd do a 'heat check' here to get input. BURGER MEISTER
There's one exactly like this on CL near me. Even looks like they used the same picture to post. They want $800 for this one.

In2Fish
$350 sounds a little steep to me, I bought a similar old one from the '60s last summer. The guy wanted $200 plus, and I think we settled at $60, and it needed work too. If the old kamado has the plug-style lower vent (vs the slider vent), be sure to check for cracks in the clay vessel. Depending on the how hot the unit was used to cook, the clay plugs would expand when hot and inserted, which caused outward pressure from the expansion. the crack usually appear in the corners of the vent hole. you can see from the picture where cracks can develop. this photo was taken after I did the prep work to seal the cracks w/ JB weld. Priced way too high as a collectors item. Pictures can be deceiving as it only has a 9" grate.
JWH_Kamado
I have one of these orange Kamado grills, from the 1970s. What brand is it? Does anyone know? I will go take pictures and post in my profile later (I'm new to this board).
JWH_Kamado
I just fixed my all up. Was showing quite a bit of wear. It's a good smoker!
