Akorn Available

Recommended Posts

I switched to a 2017 KJ last Summer. Father's Day present. Always wanted a ceramic.

-My Akorn is is in the Nashville, TN area. If you, or someone you know wants to pick it up and bring it home....for you or a friend you want to introduce to Kamados.

-No money need be exchanged but I will take a case of hard apple cider, beer or a bottle of decent Vodka.

-My intent is to let this Akorn go to a cooker who is wants to see what Kamado cooking is all about. I am trying to convince  my gas grill neighbors to try it.

-My Akorn is just the ticket. Its a 2013 year model. I did seal it up for leaks, and added the Nomex gasket.

-I am reluctant to flat out sell the unit, as I cringe thinking about the chance of it not being used or stored properly.

-Send me a message via the icon above. I'll be glad to take pix and such when someone makes a serious inquiry.

I may be down that way this weekend for the UK/Vandy football game. We also have a house due to inheritance in Clarksburg that needs sold, so it seems like a good opportunity to come down and speak with a realtor as well. I have an Akorn myself that's still in great shape but a couple of years ago I gave a buddy of mine my old weber charcoal grill (he's always been strictly a gas guy) and it's on it's last legs now. He's had been looking at buying one of those gas/charcoal combo's but I think I have him talked out of it and settling on an Akorn.

I am home from now 11-13 to the end of the month. Let me know and I'll get it out and ready it up.

Best. Send me a message rather than a post-I'll keep my eye out.
