Nine or 10 months out, but ...

Recommended Posts

I’ve just publicly challenged a new Traeger owner to a cookoff. Ha!

He is my cohost for a weekly live sports radio show we do. The initial plan is to have a cookoff between us, at the first tailgate for the college football team we do broadcasting for here. Fans would, I suppose, vote for favorite. The show is called The Rundown. I’ve already dubbed this The Rundown

Chowdown.

Will need to do some big time practice this summer - and get help here of course. Just what does a kamado style do - even the basic like my Akorn - that a Traeger can’t? Or is this going to be simply a matter of how well I can smoke?

Traeger won't sear worth beans compared to a Kamado.   Do steak, burger or chicken.   Make sure there's a time limit on the contest to.   Pellet poopers don't put a lot of smoke on high temp cooks.default_rolling.gif.8699c1bdd8a361991742665232f437f5.gif
