KamadoJosephine
omfg that first post was horrific. we really need a "NSFW" (not safe for Woks) post rating for this. Glad that it worked out OK. If I saw my KJ toppling over, I would gladly hurl the nearest child under it to save it 3547fl, Scott Roberts and daninpd 1
Bgosnell151
That’s a tough one. Sorry to see that, but glad it was only the fire bowl. 3547fl

UTVol
My stomach turned when i saw the first pic. I think I would have lost my mind if that happened to me. Glad everyone is ok and the damage was minor.
Marbque
definitely no fun when a kamado cracks, reminds me of the time I dropped one of my vision classic b's, don't ask! I still shed a tear every now and then for that one
3547fl
Nothing from Vision yet, think I will do a repair on the fire bowl. It's really in 4 broken pieces and fit's back together fine. Maybe some refractory cement?? or the very high heat JB weld. Anybody do a repair? Hinge is fixed and reinstalled.
BobE
My condolences! Refractory cement would be my choice. JB weld is an epoxy and has a couple of transition temperatures where it goes from solid to plastic, to liquid. and then to gas I'm not a chemist, but I wouldn't want to eat what ever is being cooked off during the phase changes. It does say outdoor grills. Might be worth a try. Just not sure how well it will stick to ceramic. Temperature rating is high enough. 3547fl
Quick update, Vision is sending a new fire bowl at no cost and free shipping. Will be 2-3 weeks due to them being out of stock. Good support if you ask me. Billy Grills and Bgosnell151
