First attempt at beef ribs

for the life of me, I CANNOT find the bigger cut of ribs. I can only find the smaller cubes, and OCCASIONALLY the ones sodaking made, but only rarely.

 

I did find some at a jewish market, but the price was laughably insane ($18/lb or more)

 

Can anyone help me out here? @TKOBBQ, can you ever find these in the old line state? I've called butchers but they "rarely have them" which I think is code for "we make more money parting them out"

I get mine from Sams club.
Butchers often cut them up into smaller pieces, for Korean style BBQ.
I just ask for the whole short rib. They always have a two pack that hasnt been chopped up.

Two ways I know of:

1. Have a copy of a business license, take it in and feel out the paperwork. 

2. Join the KCBS and they have a deal with RD to get a membership but I'm not to sure of all the details on it.

 

If I recall correctly you are in upper MD?

Going for an internal temp of 205. I’ll update with results.
