Kick Ash Basket Divider

I saw that KAB made a divider. Does anyone have one? I am wondering how it attaches to the basket. I have a stainless steel grate on the bottom of my Big Joe where the cast iron was cause it was a cheaper alternative to the KAB and was wondering if the divider would attach to it so i can use just have the grill.

Thanks

I just picked up a new KA basket and also ordered the divider.  While I have not yet used the divider I can say that it's substantial and heavy duty.  The nice thing is that you can adjust where it sits in the basket which allows you to do a larger or smaller than half a basket of charcoal.  The way it attaches is by a cutout in the bottom of the divider which hooks into the bottom of the KA basket.  Not sure if it would be compatible with your grate.

I have the divider and it fits in between the grates of the basket so im pretty confident it would work, my only concern would be is the grate your using stable? or does it slide around
