First Smoke on KJ

I made baby backs on my new Kamado Joe,  the site will only allow me to post one picture so this is a shot of them in the middle of the cook. These were the best ribs I have ever made. I followed "Kamado Joe - How to Prep and Cook Pork Ribs"  recipe and directions with one addition; I added a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar to the mop sauce which gave it a kick. I love cooking on the KJ.    I am dying to make pizza so I will be purchasing the pizza stone next. Husband happy, neighbors jealous!

A pizza stone, and some pizza crust/bread recipes... Neat things happen when you get hotter than indoor ovens typically do. Just start small and use lots of corn meal on the peel, so it slides off well. Nothing worse than a full pie coming apart entering the grill.
