scarfmace
Made a little stop at the local butcher shop yesterday and picked up a 2kg chicken. Rub: salt - pepper - turmeric - chilli - origano You might notice the 'boobs' on the chicken breasts, these are actually lime parts that I filled with butter. They are placed between the meat and the skin and the butter mixes with the limejuice and enters the breasts to give them a nice full taste with a little acid kick. Also, I kept the can empty, so no Coke Zero was involved. Sides where simple: grilled carrots and sweet potatoes that I cut in Julienne with red onion. Homemade bbqsause to finish Golf Griller, Nnank76, BobE and 3 others
Gayton81
Hmmm looks great, the lime/butter technique seems very interesting. I may have to give that a shot one day.
BobE
It looks very tasty, couldn't help noticing that the 'boobs' seemed to have sagged over time. I guess that's to be expected
Rob_grill_apprentice
Looks good. I have made I bribe which had lime juice in it, but that was first time I have seen half a lime under the skin on each side of chicken breast. They interesting. jrakutt
interesting with having the can empty. I always put something in mine (even if it's just water with some of the dry rub thrown in)... I figure the steam coming out of the can helps keep the bird moist.
scarfmace
I've done both and I can't tell the difference. Neither can the wife. the reason I use an empty can is because that way I can drink whatever was inside it :D.
